Four years ago, I watched the World Cup 2006 at my university's dorm with a group of S. Korean exchange students. The Common TV Area was basically taken over by a bunch of excited screaming Asians, potato chips, peanuts, and *non-alcoholic beverages*. S. Korea Team was doing so well for a long while. The exchange students and I had a great time following them. We were so pumped that we even drove 5 hours down to LA to watch the S. Korean Vs. France match at LA's Korea Town - a famous spot with the most Korean population outside of Korea.
